A few Brag Book Layouts to show:)

Here's the first BB layout I finally got done.:) This is Christy's cat Meowse.Pronounced..Me-ows.hehe. Christy got her a little cloth box with a hole in it for the entrance and she put some cat nip inside before wrapping it up so Meowse would be curious...Looks like it worked huh?LOL
This is Mama Christmas morning at our house showing her pretties.:)She loves crystal and pins.:)
Here are our three granddaughters.Destiny..in her Spiderman suit with a can of silly string Jim picked up for her.We all know she loves Spiderman. We even found a pair of Spiderman house slippers for her for Christmas..before Kmart went out of business. She screamed with excitement when she saw them.:) The silly string probably didn't last long..but it's the closest thing to a web that she will get near to.LOL Lexie..in the middle.. got an E-pet.From what I understand..they can go online with the info that comes with the pet and take care of it ..virtually..on a special site made just for that.Feed it etc.:) Carrie..who just turned thirteen this year ..got a brush and mirror set and Christy is brushing her hair for her.:) These are only a few of the things they got for Christmas.
This is our son...Robby.He got a cool shirt from Jimmy (brother) for Christmas. It says...Real Men Love Jesus.:)
This is Jim..the Santa in our family...as the title says. I got him to smile for me when he turned his head.:) He doesn't have a beard this year.Yet!LOL

If you would like to use any of these brag book pages..scroll down and also go to the previous posts. They are there somewhere.hehe

We had a really wonderful Christmas Eve..Christmas Day and New Years Day.Family coming out of the woodwork.LOL Such a great joy to have your loved ones near.:)

I wanted to tell you about something that happened a couple of days ago.I was going through the line at Walmart when I asked the cashier if she had had a nice Christmas. She said yes..she had a nice one..but she didn't sound like she meant it.I said..well..having family around really is the main thing.( thinking that presents weren't everything)Kwim? In the course of the conversation..she told me about her nephew coming back from Iraq and being able to be with the family for Christmas. Then she said something that brought tears to my eyes and also a flow of tears to hers...her nephew had just gone back to Iraq and had only been there for two days when he was killed.:( How utterly sad. I told her how sorry I was and gave her a hug before leaving. She said she thought she was coping with it but she guessed she wasn't doing as well as she thought she was. It really makes you think about the sacrifices our men and women are making so that we can have these wonderful times with our loved ones.I want to Thank each and every Service person for the sacrifices they make for us.Not only those being sent to the front..but those that are behind keeping the supplies going and being prepared for a moments notice.Thank You!!:)

Today I am taking down the Christmas decorations around the house and going to put my regular pretties back where they belong.:) Busy busy.hehe

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping in to take a peek...and leave me some luv!:)

Hugs,
Valinda
