Valjs QP 2-26-08

Here is another QP I made using my satin flowers from a couple of posts back.I LOVE the way the frames turned out.It took a while to thread all that ribbon..but I think it is well worth the time and effort.Even if I do say so myself.LOL Click on the preview for a closer look.:)

Thank you ALL so much for the fantastic comments you left me for my first attempt at chipboard.I am soo glad you like it.:) You are most welcome!!

Dh is off again today. We went to Mom's yesterday evening after getting some 2x4's at Lowes. (guess what he is going to be doing today..hehe) We had those thunderstorms and she had to shut her puter off in a hurry to try to save it..and it isn't working now.:( She said it got so windy over there she took her dog into the bathroom with her and sat the storm out. Later we found out a tree had landed on one of the homes in her neighborhood.Up the street from her. Last night..we had snow again. Not much..but any snow in this area is the talk of the day.LOL Everyone buys the stores out of bread and milk..etc. We don't have snow plows etc in our area ..and there are a lot of if it snows much..we usually have a "snowday" and stay home.:) I looked outside this morning and the snow is just a thin layer on top of everything and not much on the ground. SNOWED!!!LOL

If you would like to use this one.....

It has been warming up here the last couple of days and my crocuses (sp?) are blooming today! I took a picture of them and will have to make a layout using my Spring word art that you saw on my blog the other day! I would have loved to had gotten snow here, but at least we were able to go and play in the snow this year - the girls had a lot of fun, too!
Oh no for your Mom's puter not working....hope you are able to get it fixed for her! Glad that nothing bad happened to her house with the thunderstorms - yikes!
Your laced frames are lovely and so neat - I bet that took you a long time to do - beautiful job as always!
    Huggers to you!
